John Nixon 
John was born on February 20th, 1776. John's father was William Nixon and his mother was Yanacha Jane Ayers. His paternal grandparents were Allan Nixon and Catherine Wright; his maternal grandparents were Moses Ayers and Dorcas Cox. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Allen, Moses, George, Jacob, Samuel, Dorcas and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 47 in June 1823 in Butler, OH.-
