Amos Gilbert Collins 
Amos Gilbert was born on February 6th, 1857 in Cheshire, Allegan, Michigan. Amos Gilbert's father was Daniel Collins and his mother was Sarah Grove Palmer. His paternal grandfather is Daniel Collins; his maternal grandfather is Amos Palmer and his maternal grandmother was Martha. He has two brothers and four sisters, named Marion Standish, Alton Daniel, Amenia, Clara Mariah, Ada S and Emma Viola. He is the second oldest of the seven children. He has a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Ola Warren, Bessie, Nettie S, Naoma Augusta and Ruby Hazel.-
