Charles S. Patterson

Charles S. was born in 1804 in Rutherford Co, NC.  Charles S.'s father was David Patterson and his mother was Charity Watterson Simmons.  His maternal grandparents were James S. Simmons and Mary Watterson Waters. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John L., Elisha Slyvanius, Mary S., Nancy Morris, Elizabeth Watteson, Sarah "Sally" R. and Christianna Payne.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John, Martha and Margaret.  He died at the age of 63 on August 22nd, 1867 in Hall Co, GA.

They had two sons named James Leeland and Charles Davis.
