Marjory of was born about 1270 in Mar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Marjory of's father was Donald of Mar and her mother was Helen Verch Llewellyn. Her paternal grandparents were William Macgylocher of Mar and Elizabeth Comyn; her maternal grandparents were Llewelyn ap Iorwerth and Joan of England. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Gartnet (Gartney) Macglylocher of, Duncan of, Alexander of, Isabel Matilda and Mary of. She was the oldest of the six children. She had a half-sister named Hawise. She died before July 24th, 1326 in Dunrobin Castle, Golspie, Sutherland, Scotland.-
