John Hoffman

John was born on January 3rd, 1839.  John's father was Jacob Hoffman and his mother was Magdalena Stouffer.  His paternal grandparents were Matthias Hoffman and Mary Hoover. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named Matthias, Jacob, Eve, Nancy, Mary E., Magdelena, Esther, Elizabeth, Leah and Sarah.  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 41 on April 16th, 1880.
