W. Jasper was born on June 30th, 1883 in Macon Co, NC. W. Jasper's father was Benjamin Franklin Henson and his mother was Martha Matilda Allen. His paternal grandparents were Ephraim D. Henson and Annie Carpenter; his maternal grandparents were William Marion Allen and Martha M. Carson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Lindsey, Robert A., James, Lily Mae, Imogene and Sarah Isabel. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 79 on May 21st, 1963 in Macon co, NC.-
