Philip Sr. Henson 
Philip Sr. was born in SC. Philip Sr.'s father was Bartlett Henson and his mother was Anne Freeman or Freeland. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Henson and Jennie LNU. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Bartlett, Freeland, Jacob, John, Maria, Nancy, Susannah, Elizabeth and Sally. He died about 1830 in Rutherford Co, NC.
They had eight sons and six daughters, named Philip Jr., Elisha, Thomas William, Benjamin Franklin, Bartlett, Lloyd, Richard, Samuel, Fanny, Mary, Jane, Susan or Suzanne, Elizabeth and Sarah.
