Eleanor was born about 1244 in Surrey, England.  Eleanor's father was Earl John de Warren of Warren & Surrey and her mother was Alice de Lusignan.  Her paternal grandparents were William de Warenne and Maud Marshall; her maternal grandparents were Count Hugh de Lusignan X de la Marche and Yolande de Dreux. She had a brother and a sister, named William and Isabel. She had a half-sister named Isabel.  She died after 1282.  She was buried in Sallay Abbey, Craven, Yorkshire, England.

‌Eleanor and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on September 8th, 1268 in York, Yorkshire, England.  They had a son named Henry.
