Geoffrey, known as "the Fair", "le bon", was born on August 24th, 1113 in Anjou, France.  "the Fair", "le bon"'s father was King Fulk ("the Younger", "le Jeune") d'Anjou V of Jerusalem and his mother was Ermengard of Maine.  His paternal grandparents were King Fulk ("Rechin") d'Anjou IV of Jerusalem and Bertrade de Montfort; his maternal grandparents were Helias of Maine and Agnes of Aquitaine. He had a brother and a sister, named Helie and Sybil.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 38 on September 7th, 1151 in Chateau, France.  He was buried in September 1151 in Cathedral, Le Mans, France.

‌"the Fair", "le bon" and Lady of the English were married in a religious ceremony on May 22nd, 1128 in Le Mans, Sarthe, France.  They had two sons named Hameline Plantagenet and "Plantagenet".

They had a daughter named Emme.
