Geoffrey, known as "Grisegonelle", was born about 0950 in Anjou, France.  "Grisegonelle"'s father was Duke Fulk ("le Bon") d'Anjou II of Brittany and his mother was Gerberge du Maine.  His paternal grandfather was Count Fulk ("le Roux") I of Anjou & Orleans and his paternal grandmother is Countess Roscille de Loches of Anjou; his maternal grandfather is Count Rotbold II of Arles. He had two brothers and five sisters, named "Grisegonelle", "Le Vieux", Arsinde, Arsinde Blanche, Adelaide, Adelaide and Agnes.  He died  due to killed in battle on July 21st, 0987 in Anjou, France.


"Grisegonelle"'s family with Adelais de Vermandois

‌"Grisegonelle" and Adelais were married in a religious ceremony on March 2nd, 0978.  They had a son and a daughter, named "the Black", "le Noir" and Gerberga.
