Maud was born about 1233 in Gower, Glamorganshire, Wales.  Maud's father was William de Braose and her mother was Eve Marshall.  Her paternal grandparents were Lord Reginald de Braose of Abergavenny and Grecia Briwere; her maternal grandparents were William Marshall and Isabel FitzGilbert de Clare. She had two sisters named Eva and Alianore.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died before March 20th, 1301.

‌Maud and William were married in a religious ceremony in 1151 in Gower, Glamorganshire, Wales.  They had a son and two daughters, named William, Maud and Emma.


Maud's second family with Rhys Mechyll ap Rhys Gryg

‌Maud and Rhys Mechyll were married in a religious ceremony in 1230.  They had a daughter named Gwenlion.


Maud's third family with Lord Roger de Mortimer III of Wigmore

‌Maud and Roger were married in a religious ceremony about 1247.  They had a son and a daughter, named Edmund and Isabel.


Maud's fourth family with Sir Knight Brian de Brampton

‌Maud and Brian were married in a religious ceremony about 1256.  They had a son named Brian.
