Sancho, known as "the Desired", was born in 1134 in Toledo, Castile. "the Desired"'s father was King Alfonso ("the Emperor", "Pierre-Raimund") Raimundez VII and his mother was Berenguela Berengar of Barcelona. His paternal grandparents were Count Raymond of Burgundy & Castile and Queen Uracca Alfonsez of Castile and Leon; his maternal grandparents were Count Raymond ("the Great") III of Barcelona and Dulce Aldonza Milhaud. He had a brother and two sisters, named Ferdinand, Constance and Sancha. He had a half-sister named Sancha. He died at the age of 24 on August 31st, 1158 in Toledo, Castile.General Notes
