Her paternal grandparents are Joel Robbins and Sarah Parker; her maternal grandparents are Henry S. Brabbin and Jane Goodman. She had five brothers named Joel Washington, James, George F., William and John D.. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 88 on December 21st, 1963 in San Luis Obispo, CA.-
