Silas Mercer Parker 
Silas Mercer was born in 1804 in Bedford, TN, USA.1 Silas Mercer's father was Elder John Parker and his mother was Sarah White. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Parker and Ann Clayton; his maternal grandmother was Faith Oakman. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Jesse, Daniel, John, Benjamin, Mary, Phoebe and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 32 on May 19th, 1836 in Fort Parker, TX, USA.1 -
