John Henry Forbes 
John Henry was born on November 8th, 1846 in Racoon Precinct, Laurel County, KY. John Henry's father was Robert Forbes and his mother was Malinda Phebe Branstetter. His paternal grandparents were John Forbes and Mary Polly Hines; his maternal grandfather was Henry Branstetter and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Craig. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Eli Green, Robert, Emiline Polly, Phebe, Mary E., Emaline, Charlotte and Martha Jane. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 73 on July 15th, 1920 in Peggs, OK.General Notes
