Rebecca was born on December 26th, 1704 in Little Compton, Newport, RI. Rebecca's father was Johnathan WOOD and her mother was Elizabeth THURSTON. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas WOOD and her paternal grandmother is Rebecca Mrs WOOD; her maternal grandparents were Johnathan THURSTON and Sarah GUILE. She had a brother and five sisters, named Jonathan, Bridget, Elizabeth, Ruth, Susanna and Mary. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 91 in 1795 in Little Compton, Newport, Rhode Island.General Notes
