Joseph Oliver 
Joseph was born about 1847 in Salford, Lancashire, England. Joseph's father was Thomas Oliver and his mother was Sarah Ashworth. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Oliver and Mrs. Jane Oliver; his maternal grandparents were John Ashworth and Ann Varley. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, John, Thomas, Mary Ann, Jane, Hannah, Sarah Ann, Martha and Mary Ann (Twin). He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died about 1847 in Salford.General Notes
