ad sustained in coming from England and being to return again" he was rele
ased from the fine. They are called "strangers" in this recor. Robert, S
enior, as shown elsewhere was a first cousin of the emigrant brothers, Joh
n, William and Robert.
Robert junior was in New England as late as 4/16/1673 when he witnessed t
he purchase the William's homestead at Branford.
