Ruth GILPIN 
Ruth was born on August 28th, 1697 in Birmingham, Chester, PA. Ruth's father was Joseph GILPIN and her mother was Hannah GLOVER. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas GILPIN and Joane BARTHOLOMEW; her maternal grandparents were George GLOVER and Alice LAMBOL OR LAMBOLL. She had six brothers and nine sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, Joseph, George, Isaac, Moses, Rachael, Hannah, Lydia, Ann, Sarah, Alice, Alice, Mary and Esther. She was the fourth oldest of the sixteen children. She died at the age of 63 in 1760 in Kennett, Chester, Pennsylvania. She was buried in Concord, PA.General Notes
