Alice was born on December 7th, 1714 in Birmingham, Chester, PA. Alice's father was Joseph GILPIN and her mother was Hannah GLOVER. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas GILPIN and Joane BARTHOLOMEW; her maternal grandparents were George GLOVER and Alice LAMBOL OR LAMBOLL. She had six brothers and nine sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, Joseph, George, Isaac, Moses, Rachael, Hannah, Ruth, Lydia, Ann, Sarah, Alice, Mary and Esther.
