AMICIA was born in 1220.1 AMICIA's father was GILBERT De CLARE and her mother was ISABELLE MARSHALL. Her paternal grandparents were RICHARD De CLARE and AMICIA FITZWILLIAM; her maternal grandparents were WILLIAM 'THE PROTECTOR' MARSHALL and ISABEL FITZGILBERT De CLARE. She had three brothers and two sisters, named RICHARD, WILLIAM, GILBERT, ISABELLE and AGNES. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 64 in 1284.1 General Notes
