George Thomas Ford was a slight man who lived for many yrs. in Madison Co. Ga. He was by hx a farmer and was probably somewhat successful since he was able to raise a considerable number of children. As of this time I don't have all the childrern listed but I should soon have a list of the entire Ford oofsprings from his marriage with Susie Brown. He liked alcohol and one of my earilest memories of him is that he would have Spells. He would fall slowly to the ground and hollower out " Sukie Sukie a little toddy" Grand Ma Susie who was teribble stooped always had a tablespoon in her long apron pocket with a bottle of Homebrew. She would rush forward and drizzle a Spoonful into his mouth . He would then get up and hobble around the yard until the next "spell Hit him". In their old age they lived around among their children and Grand children. Both to the best of my recollection were very quite and kind and seemed to enjoy their children and their offspring. He lived to be 87yrs. old and Sukie lived to be 92 . A reward for always having the whiskey handy.
