Benjamin Vardeman 
Benjamin was born about 1844. Benjamin's father was Peter Vardeman and his mother was Mary 'Polly' Scrogin. His paternal grandmother is Mary 'Polly' Wilcoxson. He has five brothers and two sisters, and also three siblings of unknown gender, named Jeremiah F., Thomas F., William, Abraham(Abram), Quentin D., Angeline, Elizabeth A., S. J., M.A. and M.. He is the sixth oldest of the eleven children.-
