Percy Rivers was born on September 19th, 1896. Percy Rivers' father was John Richard Underwood and his mother was Mahala Ann Gray. His paternal grandparents were George Terrell Underwood and Sarah Ellen Kee. He had three brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Owen Julian, John Gray, Terrell Nimrod, Nina Pearl, Luta Epps, Rosie Belle, Mary Ellen and Unknown. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 56 on April 1st, 1953.-
