Benjamin Owens was born on February 22nd, 1855 in Taylor Co.,Kentucky. Benjamin Owens' father was Thomas E. Underwood and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Druin. His paternal grandparents were Hiram Underwood and Celia Buley. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named William Thomas , Rev., John, Andrew Jackson, Samuel Druin, George Durrett, James D., Frances, Ellen, Catherine Ann, Clarissa, Jane, Mary E. and Sarah M.. He was the second youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 2 on August 18th, 1857 in Taylor Co.,Kentucky.-
