He was the third youngest of the six children. He had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named William B., Eli, Green Berry ,Jr., Hiram Jackson, Sarah N., Mary Jane, Elizabeth, Ersley Alley, Celia Betty and Jane. He died at the age of 74 on May 14th, 1959 in Hibernia,LaRue Co.,Kentucky. He was buried in Otter Creek Baptist Church Cemetery,LaRue Co.,Kentucky.-
