Samuel Copeland Snider 
Samuel Copeland was born on March 7th, 1840 in Vermilion Co.,Illinois. Samuel Copeland's father was John Snider and his mother was Rachel Smalley. His paternal grandparents were Asa Barton Snider and Ann Uley; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin F. Smalley and Mary Liggett. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James Asa, Benjamin Smalley, John Milton, Mary Elizabeth and Barbara Ellen. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named James Louis, Sophrania Ann, Rachel Victoria, Victoria and Prudence. He died at the age of 79 on October 26th, 1919 in Porum,Muskogee Co.,Oklahoma. He was buried in Coleman Cemetery.-
