John Blounton Snider

John Blounton was born on July 28th, 1839 in Vermilion Co.,Illinois. John Blounton's father was John Snider and his mother was Mary Blount. His paternal grandparents were Rudoph Snider and Mary Elizabeth Morgan. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Asa, Samuel, Charles, Moses, Wesley, Asenith, Hannah, Elenora and Margaret. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Enoch N., Barton, Rebecca, Sarah Ann and Elizabeth E.. He died at the age of 76 on November 6th, 1915 in Vermilion Co.,Illinois. He was buried in Snider Cemetery,4 Miles west of Danville,Illinos.

‌John Blounton and Rachel E. were married in a religious ceremony in October 1859 in Vermilion Co.,Illinois. They had six sons and five daughters, named William W., Samuel B., John, Orvel, Asa, Louis Edward, Mary L., Esther Ellen, Lyda, Lillian Belle and Medda.
