James Skaggs 
James was born in 1761 in Green Co.,Kentucky. James' father was Henry Skaggs and his mother is Mary Thompson. His paternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Unknown. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John Thompson, Solomon, David, Stephen, Sarah, Nancy, Lucy, Sylvia, Mary and Rachael. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 71 on December 14th, 1832 in Madison Co.,Kentucky.-
