Christian Skaggs 
Christian was born on May 8th, 1809 in Virginia. Christian's father is Peter Skaggs and his mother is Martha Cothron. His paternal grandparents are Zachariah Skaggs and Anne Unknown. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Lewis, Solomon, John Patrick, Jeremiah, Moses, Peter ,Jr., Nancy, Isabelle, Rutha and Linney. He is the third youngest of the eleven children.
‌Christian and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on February 24th, 1829 in Lawrence Co.,Kentucky.
