James Shorter

James was born on July 1st, 1810 in Franklin Co.,Virginia. James' father is John Shorter and his mother was Nancy Palmore. His paternal grandparents are James Shorter and UNKNOWN Unknown. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, Booker and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Francis, William, Booker Randolph, Woodson Arthur, George Washington, Thomas H. and Frances. He died at the age of 80 on October 6th, 1890.
