Booker Randolph Shorter 
Booker Randolph was born on June 24th, 1809 in Charlotte Co.,Virginia. Booker Randolph's father was John Shorter and his mother was Nancy Palmore. His paternal grandfather was James Archibald Shorter and his paternal grandmother is Lucy Childrey. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Francis, William, James, Woodson Arthur, George Washington, Thomas H., Sarah and Frances. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers named William and Booker. He died at the age of 56 on October 7th, 1865.-
