Her maternal grandparents were William Bohannon and Jane 'Jennie' Wilcoxson. She had two brothers and five sisters, named William Samuel, John Coleman, Elvira, Louisa, Jane Catherine, Frances A. and Amelia(Pamelia). She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 67 in 1922 in Kentucky.-
