Martha was born in 1727 in Proctors Cr. area,Charlotte Co.,Virginia. Martha's father was Arthur , Jr. Moseley and her mother was Martha Cocke. Her paternal grandparents were Arthur ,Jr. Moseley and Sarah Hancock; her maternal grandparents were John Cocke and Obediance Branch. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Arthur ,3rd, Edward, John, Richard, William, Thomas, Benjamin and Sarah. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Martha. She died in Proctors Cr. area,Charlotte Co.,Virginia.-
