Ethel was born on September 28th, 1899 in Washington Co.,Pennsylvina. Ethel's father was James Oscar McGee and her mother was Carrie Leona Beard. Her maternal grandparents were John Wesley Beard and Eliza Jane Stone. She had three brothers and a sister, named Arthur, Earl, Floyd Harold and Mabel Sarah. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 61 on December 29th, 1960 in Greensburg,Indiana. She was buried in Union Baptist Church Cemetery,Greensburg,Indiana.-
