Elizabeth was born on July 5th, 1812 in Ohio. Elizabeth's father was Asa Barton Snider and her mother was Ann Uley. Her paternal grandparents were Rudoph Snider and Mary Elizabeth Morgan. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, George, John, Michael, Asa, Thomas, Barton, Mary, Rebecca and Barbara. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, Moses, Davis, Rachael A. and Margaret. She died at the age of 82 on February 14th, 1895 in Greensburg,Decatur Co.,Indiana.-
