Lorena was born on February 26th, 1905. Lorena's father was John Wesley Keahey and her mother was Ura S. Hughey. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Smith Keahey and Martha Elizabeth Robertson. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named John Winford, E. Vernon, Alton Winston, Gerald Clifford, Nolen Altus, Leon, L. B., Edwin Earl, Lois E. and Audrey. She is the second oldest of the eleven children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Unknown and Della.-
