E. Vernon Keahey 
E. Vernon was born on March 3rd, 1907 in Rodger Mills Co.,Crawford,Oklahoma Territory. E. Vernon's father was John Wesley Keahey and his mother was Ura S. Hughey. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Smith Keahey and Martha Elizabeth Robertson. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John Winford, Alton Winston, Gerald Clifford, Nolen Altus, Leon, L. B., Edwin Earl, Lorena, Lois E. and Audrey. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Unknown and Della. He died at the age of 88 on September 13th, 1995.-
