Jessie Emma was born on November 12th, 1912. Jessie Emma's father was Joseph Monroe Keahey and her mother was Georgia Davis. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Smith Keahey and Martha Elizabeth Robertson. She had three sisters named Ethel Belzora, Mertie Irene and Mildred Mae. She is the second oldest of the four children. She had four half-sisters named Jocie Rachel, Maude Frances, Dora Ethel and Margaret Lee.-
