Dora Ethel was born on January 30th, 1924. Dora Ethel's father was Joseph Monroe Keahey and her mother was Maud Brewer. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Smith Keahey and Martha Elizabeth Robertson. She had three sisters named Jocie Rachel, Maude Frances and Margaret Lee. She is the second youngest of the four children. She had four half-sisters named Ethel Belzora, Jessie Emma, Mertie Irene and Mildred Mae.-
