James Alfred , Jr. was born in October 1851 in Dale Co.,Alabama. James Alfred , Jr.'s father was James Alfred Keahey and his mother was Carolina Munn. His paternal grandparents were George Burder Keahey and Margaret Keahey. He had five brothers and a sister, named George Patterson, John Michael, Neal Bruce ,Rev., Daniel Angus, Martin Luther and Catherine. He died at the age of 83 in September 1935.-
