Catherine was born in 1854. Catherine's father was James Alfred Keahey and her mother was Carolina Munn. Her paternal grandparents were George Burder Keahey and Margaret Keahey. She had six brothers named George Patterson, John Michael, James Alfred , Jr., Neal Bruce ,Rev., Daniel Angus and Martin Luther.-
