Sarah (Sally) was born on July 15th, 1820. Sarah (Sally)'s father was Archibald Jacoway and her mother was Mary Susanna Gilreath. Her maternal grandparents were John Gilreath and Johannah Jones. She has three brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin Jones, William Ussery, John Garrett, Johanna, Nancy, Rebecca C. and Elizabeth. She is the youngest of the eight children.-
