Benjamin Jones was born on March 12th, 1806. Benjamin Jones' father was Archibald Jacoway and his mother was Mary Susanna Gilreath. His maternal grandparents were John Gilreath and Johannah Jones. He has two brothers and five sisters, named William Ussery, John Garrett, Johanna, Nancy, Rebecca C., Elizabeth and Sarah (Sally). He is the oldest of the eight children.-
