Ruth B. was born on July 26th, 1908 in Green Co.,Kentucky. Ruth B.'s father was Elzy Franklin DeSpain and her mother is Mary Susan Marcum. Her paternal grandparents were William Perry DeSpain and Mary Elizabeth Warren. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George, Fred Gilbert, Charles, Ida, Flora E., Nancy Alice and Leona Edna. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 91 on June 6th, 2000 in Greensburg,Green Co.,Kentucky.-
