Nettie was born on December 12th, 1881 in Sealy,Austin Co.,Texas. Nettie's father was Oliver Green Cannon and her mother was Winnie Margaret Allen. Her paternal grandparents are Henry Cannon and Elizabeth Duncan; her maternal grandparents were James William Allen and Penelope Johnston. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Willie Green, James Henry, Henry, Oliver Gilmer, William Strauss, Rosey Lee, Winnie Edna and May D.. She died at the age of 88 on April 28th, 1970 in Brookline,Texas.-
