James William Allen 
James William was born on October 4th, 1919 in Sanderson,Terrell Co.,Texas. James William's father was Robert Newton Allen and his mother was Anna Elizabeth Lee. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Norton Allen and Edna Sidney Tomlinson. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert Newton, David Harrell, Donald Sam, Anne Lee and Mary Alice. He is the second oldest of the six children.-
