Maud was born about 1290 in Ashby-Magna, Leicestershire, England.  Maud's father was Alan la Zouche and her mother was Eleanor de Segrave.  Her paternal grandparents were Roger la Zouche and Ela (Eleanor) Longespee of Salisbury; her maternal grandparents were Nicholas de Segrave and Matilda (Maud) de Lucy. She had two sisters named Elena and Elizabeth.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died on May 31st, 1349 in Brackley, Northamptonshire, England.  She was buried in Brackley, Northamptonshire, England.


Maud's family with Robert II de Holland

‌Maud and Robert II were married in a religious ceremony.  They had two sons and five daughters, named Robert III, Thomas, Maud, Margaret, Alianore, Joan (Jane) and Elizabeth.
