Maurice the Resolute de Berkeley 
Maurice the Resolute was born in 1218. Maurice the Resolute's father was Thomas the Observer FitzHarding de Berkeley and his mother was Joan de Somery. His paternal grandparents were Maurice the Make Peace FitzRobert and Alice de Berkeley; his maternal grandparents were Ralph de Somery and Margaret FitzGilbert Marshal. He had five brothers and a sister, named Thomas, William, Henry, Richard, Robert and Margaret. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 63 on April 4th, 1281.
