Unknown was born about 1783 in Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Unknown's father was Peter Wetzel and his mother is Anna Catharine. His paternal grandparents were Johan Jacob Wetzel and Anna Maria Bassler. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Johan Peter, Johan Henry, Johan George, Joseph, Maria Elizabeth, Catherine and Anna Maria. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died on August 31st, 1790 in Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on September 3rd, 1790 in Upper Milford Reformed Cemetery Upper Milford Township,Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.-
